Charrette
- A charrette is type of public workshop where participants break into small groups to discuss and work through issues, then present their ideas to the larger group to clarify and consolidate concepts. Charrettes can vary in length from several hours to several days and involve any and all stakeholders. The goal of a charrette is to work through planning issues, hear a variety of perspectives, defuse po-tential conflicts, and promote joint ownership of the result-ing solutions.
