In 2020, Josh began service in the Bureau of Recreation and Conservation and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. Josh served as GIS specialist for the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association from January 2018 through December 2019 during which time he established a statewide GIS database of privately conserved lands. Josh previously worked as the research and evaluation forester at the Watershed Agricultural Council, a land trust in upstate New York, where he managed the forest stewardship website MyWoodlot.
