Backup Grantee (alternatively, Backup Holder)
  1. An entity qualified to hold a conservation easement that is empowered by the grant of conservation easement to replace a defunct or non-performing holder of the easement. [Source: WeConservePA]

Baseline Documentation

  2. A document that establishes the condition of the property at the time an easement is signed. It is used for future monitoring and can be used to measure future development against the terms of the easement. It is a critical document in the case of an easement violation.

Best Management Practices
