The Model License and Indemnity Agreement formalizes permission granted by a landowner to another party for use of the owner’s land and limits the liability of the owner regarding the party’s use. The model is designed with the assumptions that the land serves a conservation purpose, the owner is a conservation nonprofit, and the other party is an organization whose purpose and intended use of the land are compatible with the property’s conservation status. Four-page model plus five pages of commentary.
